Your support helps our network sustain critical campaigns and programs:

  • Woori Center provided COVID-19 relief funds to over 50 low-income community members.
  • Woori Center kept Korean culture alive in greater Philadelphia by presenting Lunar New Year Concert for Healing and by offering traditional music classes.
  • Woori Center’s 2021 Civic Engagement campaign engaged about 5,000 voters through voter registration, education, and Get Out The Vote efforts. Woori Center published its fourth bilingual Korean/English Voter Guide to support our growing Asian American electorate.
  • As the only Asian American member of Driving PA forward, Woori Center met with state legislators to educate them about and advocate for driver’s licenses for all Pennsylvanians, regardless of immigration status. Woori Center also is organizing for instate tuition access for all.
  • NAKASEC’s Citizenship For All Campaign organizes and advocates for a pathway to citizenship for the 11 million undocumented community members, of which almost 2 million are Asian American.
  • NAKASEC’s project, Adoptees for Justice, helped secure 56 co-sponsors in the US House of Representatives and 11 co-sponsors in the U.S. Senate for the Adoptee Citizenship Act, which will grant citizenship to all intercountry adoptees, over half of which are Asian American.
